The AX Series from Aiphone allows you to view and communicate with anyone at the door and to release the door as well. It can also incorporate a card reader for any access control system to make for a very clean look.

The AX Series can control 120 doors and allow up to 8 monitoring points. This product far exceeds previous door station distances as it will run on CAT5 up to 1,960 feet. The CAT5 provides power, video and audio. If not using an access control system an additional 18/2 will be needed for door release.

The AX Series also provides options for fiber or ethernet connectivity in case of longer runs. Additionally, it can provide video outputs to a DVR to record facial shots of all visitors.

This easy to install system will allow you to control who has access to your building or home and be able to communicate with them from a safe distance. At 120 stations, almost 2,000 feet of wire run on CAT5 and integration with your access and video system the AX is an excellent choice.
